Historical overview

**Archive:** this overview describes the named historical release.

Historical multi-computer licensing overview.

## What Family Pack meant

This material covered the multi-computer packaging of True Image 2013. The licensing arrangement was separate from the backup method: each protected computer still needed an appropriate backup job and recovery destination.

## Plan recovery per computer

Do not assume that a backup or recovery disk from one computer can simply be used on another. Record the machine, encryption credentials and application version associated with each archive.

## Buying or restoring today

Old license packaging does not establish current purchase availability or support. Check your original license record and the vendor documentation before reinstalling or restoring a legacy backup.
