Review device-driver updates with IObit Driver Booster Pro
IObit Driver Booster Pro scans Windows device drivers and presents available updates. Pro adds automatic updating and driver-backup controls, with tools for offline preparation and selected device problems.
Start with the hardware or symptom you want to investigate. A scan recommendation does not establish that every newer driver is necessary or that a driver change will solve every crash.
Inspect the device and proposed version
Review the installed and available driver details before choosing updates. Keep manufacturer guidance for your particular computer or peripheral in mind.
For example, investigate an audio issue around the sound device rather than changing unrelated drivers at the same time. Test the affected hardware afterward so you can connect a result to the change.
Prepare backups and recovery options
Backup & Restore preserves supported drivers, and rollback is available where an earlier version can be used. System restore-point controls provide another recovery route.
Confirm that a useful backup or restore point exists before changing a critical driver. These options do not replace independent personal-file backups or guarantee recovery from every installation problem.
Use Offline Driver Updater with preparation
Offline Driver Updater provides a workflow for a computer without a working internet connection. Prepare the required driver package using another connected computer and follow the tool's transfer steps.
Identify the target computer carefully and keep the downloaded package accessible before changing its network drivers. Offline updating still requires preparation; it does not obtain new downloads without access to a connection somewhere in the workflow.
Control automatic updates and ignored recommendations
Pro offers automatic driver updates. You can also ignore a particular update or updates for a selected device and review that choice later in settings.
Use exclusions deliberately for drivers you manage separately. If a specialized application relies on a particular version, record the reason before changing the automatic-update settings.
Review focused troubleshooting tools
The toolkit includes actions for issues such as missing sound, network failure, device errors, and display resolution.
Select an action around the symptom you observe and check the result afterward. Similar symptoms can arise from hardware, connections, or application settings, so do not assume a named repair will resolve every case.
Choose driver maintenance separately from general cleanup
For updates to supported applications, see IObit Software Updater. Updating applications serves a different purpose from updating hardware drivers.
For broader Windows maintenance, see Advanced SystemCare Pro. For unwanted-application removal, see IObit Uninstaller Pro.
Review the selected license for device coverage and duration. Toolbox recommendations do not automatically include separate Pro licenses, and driver updates do not guarantee a fixed performance or frame-rate increase.
