Use an encrypted connection with ioloVPN
ioloVPN routes Internet traffic through an encrypted tunnel between your device and a VPN gateway. It is designed for connection privacy when browsing, messaging or using online services at home and on shared networks.
When connected, websites see the VPN server's public IP address for traffic routed through the service. This changes the address exposed to those sites, while accounts you sign in to can still identify you.
Choose a server location for your session
The service provides automatic server selection and a manual location choice. Use the locations available in the application rather than relying on a fixed server count that may change.
A different gateway can affect the language or regional content a website displays. Access also depends on the website's own rules: selecting a location does not guarantee that a streaming service or other destination will accept a VPN connection.
Manage VPN access across your devices
The published ioloVPN offer covers up to five compatible devices. Review the entitlement attached to your account before adding or replacing a device, especially if you are using an older subscription.
Set up the VPN on each device you intend to use. Installing it on one computer does not automatically route every device on the same Wi-Fi network through the service.
Check connection status after interruptions
Confirm that the VPN is active before starting a session you want to route through it. On mobile devices, a restart or sleep event can require you to turn the VPN on again, so check its status after returning to the device.
Connection speed depends on your network, routing and the selected server. If an application stops working as expected, check the VPN status and try another available location before continuing.
Keep connection privacy and local cleanup separate
ioloVPN does not delete browser history or cookies stored on your device. A VPN also does not remove malware or replace account security. Continue using HTTPS websites, review browser permissions and protect the accounts you use.
For a different task, iolo System Mechanic provides Windows cleanup and maintenance tools. To explore connection-privacy alternatives, browse our VPN software catalog or see Avira Phantom VPN Pro.
