Which workflow fits?
Consider System Mechanic for ActiveCare and resource settings
iolo System Mechanic provides idle-time maintenance plus LiveBoost and NetBooster controls. Review the tasks allowed to run and use the activity history to investigate a change. Connection tuning does not increase the bandwidth supplied by an Internet provider.
Consider TuneUp for its application-management workflow
AVG TuneUp provides cleaning and application-management controls, including putting selected programs to sleep. Inspect which background functions an application needs before using this option: messaging, synchronization and device services can depend on background activity.
Sleeping an application is different from uninstalling it. Test opening the program and check the background functions you expect after changing its state. TuneUp's maintenance role also differs from AVG Antivirus; the brand name does not establish which protection product is active.
Edition scope and practical checks
This comparison covers Windows maintenance in the current unnumbered catalog entries. Controls can differ by installed release and platform. Verify the Windows application rather than assigning it every function shown for another platform or suite.
- Record a normal startup or application task before changing cleanup or background settings.
- Inspect proposed cleaning categories and keep the browser data you intend to retain.
- Test a selected sleeping or adjusted application, including its notifications and synchronization.
- Configure recurring maintenance only after the changed setup works with your ordinary workload.
We have not benchmarked cleanup accuracy or performance on identical installations. Compare competing tools from equivalent restored starting states, since running one changes the starting point for the next. Issue counts and removed-file totals do not establish a faster PC.
